Okay this is it. my last entry here moving to

pls bookmark the new url :P thanks thanks :) and you are always welcome to come back here for my past entries :) trying to keep the layout similar. But it has a nicer url now compared to ladybean... though i am kinda attached to ladybean :x Wanted to move to wordpress.com, but cannot really change much of the stuff or alter the html stuff over at wordpress.. hence giving blogspot another chance. gonna be really heartbreaking and angry if blogspot fails again in the future.

In the process of moving

If you have been reading my achives..you would have notice how badly the layout is. Yeah, everything is hay wired. Aligment all wrong, and there are double posts.. I guess it was my fault. Blogspot had some problems few weeks back...and i tried importing my blog to another blog at wordpress. Seems that the scripts and codes got messed up while doing that. Anyhow... i have created another new blog and is slowly trying to cut and paste my entries at the new blog. so..will redirect you guys when i offiically move to the new blog. *suffering from the flu bug*

argh... pests...

It is highly irritating and definitely get on my nerves when ever I am in a hurry or not in an 'entertaining ' or 'patronizing' mood that these 'overly friendly' so called financial planners try to stop me in my stride.

Why this entry today? HUH!!! coz this is a record high.. i got stopped 5 times in a matter of few hours. I know this is their rice bowl..but really, how many insurance policies or invesment plans can one get?!
While waiting for my bus at the bus stop outside Emerald Somerset... 3 different women approached me. I have my earphones ..blasting my mp3s. Shook my head at the first lady, and later got pissed when the 2nd one approached me ..so just simply treated her as transparent and least to say the 3rd one got similar cold treatment.
4th and 5th time were at Toa Payoh... *roll eyes*
Okay, even if i were to filled in the 'survey form', it is affirmative that I will be filling in a fake name and an even fake-ier phone no.
I know they have this 'never say die' 'postive' attidude. Therefore..if you are really not interested in listening to them sharing about the policies, the drawing of the time line, the telling you what will happen if u are jobless when u are 50 kinda stories.. you have to be firm when being approach. Wishy washy and hahahaha.. good luck.... you will end up having a 'nice chat' with them
Okay..enough..let's not get started on those time sharing 'surveys

E-leen or I-leen, I am still ME

Sometimes when I introduce myself to new friends, or when I am asked my name, some of these people would go..Oh! You have a song, "Come on Eileen". -_-"'''' Frankly, I really don't like that song. And the Eileen is pronounced as I-leen in the song. My Eileen is Eileen with the E...as in E-leen Yeah, some friends tell me the so called correct pronunciation should be silent E *I-leen*. But since day one few decades ago,(when my aunt gave me this name) I have been called and answering to EEileen :P Sounds odd at times when some friends or doctors call me by I-leen. Of coz I still respond to that. It wasn't until 2 yrs ago that I had "Eileen" added to my IC. It wasn't in my birthcert then. Seems that my mum delibrately left it out. *shrugs* I dunno why either.

Venue-Singapore Arts Museum *Glass Hall*
We were in the glass hall practicing and of coz there were vistors to the museum. Quite a lot of them were drawn to the glass hall by our playing. I felt like a fish coz they were all peering in thru the glass.. :P

*start of the wayang!!* It was quite crowded intially. Hardly any room for me to stretch my legs hahaha. Most audience wouldn't stay for the whole performance and this one is no different. Nearly half of those people u see seated at the back left after act one. Kids of all ages *big kids too* were captivated by the colorful puppets and fighting scenes.

i eat too much

Pardon my lousy grammer , trying to blog as fast as i can in a short time span. It is already 1.14am now. Haven't been sleeping early these days..then again..since when do I sleep early :Pp Had gamelan practice from 6.30 - 10pm for our performance tomorrow..at the Singapore Arts Museum. Adjourned to Hong kong cafe for supper right after. *chris, me, alicia and edwin* Finally had the chance to eat there.. i know i know.. they have been around for awhile. Kinda spolit for choice coz everything looks yummlicious. The french toast is a must try..though kinda steep at 3 bucks per serving.

Little Nicole's 1st Birthday

Woah...It has been a busy weekend. There was gamelan practice on Saturday and I met Jandy right after for dinner and some window shopping. Spend Sunday with Christine and pals . It was Christine's 'lil girl's 1st birthday! Yes my cute god daughter is one yr old! Gosh! Finally I am able to post. What is wrong with blogger. There has been some problem with the server and alot of bloggers weren't able to publish their entries nor access to the blogs. I am glad I didn't lost any of my entries. Maybe it's time to move .

There is a disturbing trend among the kids and young people these days. (before i go on..i have to stress, i am young , but these young people in question are younger than me hahahah ) What I am referring to is the way some of these kids type. dO U rEali LikE tO rEaD pAsSaGes tYpEd In tIs mAnnEr? I get a major headache the min. i see such typing style. Some of them even used such short forms when writing school essays. *roll eyes* Another thing I noticed these days. Adding of 'de' (的) and 'le' at the end of the sentences. Of coz such sentences are used in the casual context. But I personally find it quite irritating. For eg ---> No, I am tired, not gonna join u guys le. Or -- I am going to bed le. Argh..first there is singlish..and now this? chinglish? (*___________*)'''''

What myths do u know with regards to the moon? It was full moon last nite. Must be either the first or 15th of the lunar month. Look, it's so round. It was said that one shouldn't point to the moon, coz after which one will get a cut on the ear? hahaha.. Nope, have checked, no cut on my ear :P

it's friday already? Time files. I have been home alone for the past week. Have been out almost every night. Really need to catch up on my beauty sleep. Finally the breakout on my face is clearing up...but my back is one horrendous sight. Had dinner and drinks with my pals last nite. Was down at Thumper (goodwood park) after dinner. Woohoo.it was ladies nite and weeee..free drinks. No photos this time round coz i was with a bunch of camera shy pals. A one-night wayang kulit performance that brings together the talents of master shadow puppeteer Purbo Asmoro, acclaimed gamelan musician and musical director Wakidi Dwidjomartono and the musicians of the NUS Singa Nglaras Gamelan Ensemble!

Purbo Asmoro, one of Java's most respected and popular wayang performers, will perform Ciptoning, an episode from the great Indian epic The Mahabharata, about an evil orge who plans to steal a goddess and make her his wife. Arjuna, a prince, is sent by the gods to defeat the ogre and a battle ensues.

With simultaneous English translation available in print as well as projected surtitles

26 Mar (Sun), 7.30pm, SAM Glass Hall. Reservation of limited front row seats with donations of S$10 and above. Free admission for all other seats on a first-come-first-served basis.

BOO!

*warning* The following post is a ranting entry. Do not proceed, I repeat, DO NOT proceed if you have no wish to 'hear' me complain wahahhaha. Instead, you can click Here for some cool and fun games. I am tired of unsolicited calls..just this few days alone I have received calls from a survery company (wanting to know about my views on certain advertisment), two banks trying to push me their credit cards, and some guy wanting to discuss my finanical situation. The banks are easy to deal with, hahaha, I start my 'script' before the card pusher goes on with their scripts. I tell them in a cordial manner that no thanks, i am unemployed or jobless, or not earning enough. And ta da! i got rid of the call. As for the insurance companies, it's abit tricky, coz those guys are trained in the thick skin department. They never take no for an answer. They 'die die ' must meet me for a 'chat' . Oh pls lah! Chat my foot. I hate to sit thru insurance talk. It's the same old stuff. The time line chart, how much we must save for old age, how much we have to prepare if we are lay off.. argh. And when asked who gave them my number, they will laugh it off..yeah..don't let me find out that YOU have been giving my number to some agent . These people will try to act as if they are your best friend, always friendly , always trying to accomodate to your timing. Blah! Ahyah, of coz i know they are just doing their job-helping us choose the rite kind of investment/insurance. Sometimes i dread going into pharmacies. There are 'dangers' lurking around. I just wanna browse around or just get want i need to get and out i go. Somehow somehwere, there will be this one sales lady trying to promote her slimming cream, her skincare, her hairt reatment etc. And hhahaha, it always seems that the sales ladies are the one that are in need of their own productS!!!!! hahahhha. GIVE ME A BREAK~~~!!! Enough of this rant. lalalallalallalal ------00ooo00-------

I like green..clothes that is.. Was doing my once a week wardrobe cleanup..tada! presenting my green tops. I realised there were a few other more greenies hidden in my wardrobe after taking this photo. Haha..i actually thought I like black! I am sure i will aquire more greenies in the near future. Yes yes...have to admit I have no muse to blog for this weekend..hence all these 'bo liao' (meaningless, useless, crappy) entries.

shorts with heels?? -_-""

I just don't get it... perhaps many of you reading this now share the same view as me. Shorts...regardless of brand..length.. color etc.. is not suppose to go with heels. It may look alright on celebrities like Fann wong or Britney Spears,but i still believe that shorts for normal people like you and me should be wore with slippers or sports shoes :P Some ladies may think that it's okay to team heels and shorts together. However, I really frown upon that. It's the same as teaming stripped shirt with checkered pants. Wouldn't that look totally horrible and clashing? I have seen countless of such oddly dressed females on the streets. I am no fashion police nor someone who knows how to dress really well...but i still have some common sense to know what to wear and what not to wear . I still stand by my view that shorts should not be worn with high heels :P ----------00OO00---------- ps: i ripped the above from my old blog. hehehe :P

Closure

Not in the best of moods. It is always calm and sweet before the great big storm. Anyway..this entry may seem meaingless to some, I meant it to be that way. lazy saturday

Went chilling out with some of my pals from the music group after our practise. Was at Thomas' art gallery shop house. Mind stimulating converstation, booze from Brewerks (one barrel left from the previous nite's art exhibit opening, to the delight of the rest, i don't drink) and cool nite, it sure is a nice way to well away some time on a lazy Saturday. Do u like my nail color? hahah..okay okay...i love the tiles Sitting at the door way.. Helena wanted a photo taken with me ,we were busy teasing the very wild house cat He may look docile..but don't be fooled by his exterior..he is one mean freaky cat!

Rochester Park

Yeah.Haven't been updating much this week :) So now here I am, feeding my faithful regulars with new photos and an interesting place to spend money. ----------------------oOoOoO------------------------- Rochester... I sure miss reading Jane Eyre. Nah! This isn't about Mr Rochester from Jane Erye. Went for drinks with my pals at One Rochester. It is basically a colonel house turn into a bali theme chillout winebar. It has an uncanny resemblance to this place at Gilman village (little bail). Normal bar prices with finger food that are easy on the palate. Quite a wide range of drinks/wine to choose from. I only took photos indoors.. the outdoor ambience's pretty cozy, with mini waterfalls and water features adding a touch to the balinese atmosphere Salmon ~~its delicious . Camera whore again :P

Girl and guy making out...guy wanna film it using handphone... girl didn't say no. Video clip stored in phone . Girl lost phone, video clip was uploaded to the net for all to see. Quite a common situation rite? i mean when you are in the throes of passion and not thinking straight... bottom line-- don't be stupid lah!! Sure go ahead and film, record or take photos of u and your partner doing it, but use your brains..erase the file lah. Seriously, you just never know when you will lost your phone, or when your partner may just use it to black mail u.

Ahyo..Singaporeans are a forgetful lot~! There is an alarming amount of hand phones reported loss. Hehehe..yeah, I am one of those forgetful ones. Lost one of mine in 2004 Nov. I left it in a cab! Was quite angry with myself. Tried tracking the cab..but to no avail. After that incident..my phone is virtually attached to me. hahaha. Top 3 places where people misplace their phones (my own 'observation'- at least what some friends have told me) --Cabs --Toilets -- Workplace (stolen) Lots of people love talking while doing their business in the loo. They simply leave the phones on top of the loo paper dispensers or somewhere nearby. Many a times they forgot about that expensive phone and off they go when they are done . The papers reported this fellow who lost 19 phones in 5 years!! Gosh,he sure sets the record! A close friend of mine(better not mention her name in this post hahahah) is quite unlucky too.. not that her phone got stolen or lost. Her phones are water magnets. Once she got 'sabo-ed' by some friends who 'dumped' her into the pool with phone in her pocket. And recently.. she was in the loo.. and somehow the phone slipped and took a dip in the bowl! But hey...those phones still manage to work despite the close shave . Phones in toilet bowls! I have heard too many times as well. Don't place the phone at the back pocket or even side pocket. Your phone could jolly well have a mind of its own and wants to have a dip. Another gal fren has lost 3 hand phones in 4 years. Well, she's lucky.. she has a rich husband to supply her with her phones . Read the Straits times Home section13/02/06 for more on lost mobiles PS- seems that we can't live without our phones. Oh yes! Try not to take any compromising photos/video on your phone cam. You never know who's gonna pick up your lost phone :P

Blah Blah blah...

Do you have expectations of your spouse, family, lover, friends etc? What happens when these expectations doesn't come true or when what you expect doesn't realised? Do u feel resentment toward the other party? Is it better to have less expectations so as not to feel disappointed? What kind of relationship or arrangement would it be so as to have No expectations of the other party? Does such a situation even exist? I am rambling on and on. ______________________________ Am currently hook on Grey's Anatomy. Great chemistry between the casts. Plus Sarah Oh just won a Global Globe for best supporting role. She's not pretty , but somehow she has presence. Ellen Pompeo who played the role of Dr Grey is dizty...pretty, smart but somehow like most females, emotional. There are cute guys too in this drama. *drool* The last time I got hooked on a drama was years back. Was crazy over Felicity. Gilmore girls' not bad, but found it draggy. Same old story line, but they just drag and drag, going in circles for a few seasons. *yawn* Just another mundane Wednesday.

Funfilled monday

Yippy!! The Nafa performance was a sucess! However, I did make a few tiny mistakes :P Was trying my best not to look at my notes while playing but no choice...steal a glance here and there. Thank goodness it was pretty dark where the audience were seated..else i would have been really nervous with so many pair of eyes looking at us play. Then again, have never really suffered from stage fright . Call me 'showoff' or which ever term u wanna, but i love performing kekeke.. since those days in SAC choir :P Anyway, we had 'smashed' chicken (indo.chicken rice) for dinner after that :P Managed to grab a 'limited' indo.drink-advocado juice. Ok..too tired and lazy to write. Just look the photos okay? It's the weekends!!

Had a gathering with 4 poly mates . We had buffet dinner at Ellenborough Market Cafe (Merchant court hotel). Food wasn't really fantastic..just average I would say. Nevertheless, I was glad to be able to catch up with these ladies. Been a few yrs since we last sat down for a meal ! (*-^)

Lunar New year....woof woof

Well well how's the ang bao collections?! Is the amount subsential or barely enough to cover the losses at cards/mahjong? hehehe. New yr came alittle early this year. Seems that there is not enough built up of the mood . Most of my friends and I thought that the mood isn't that cheery this lunar new yr. Another surprising thing is I didn't do the usual this new year, that is going chinatown. I suppose it would be nice to be there...jostling with the crowd, soaking in the festive mood. It's alittle too late for that now, though I should be dropping by the Hong bao river at Marina . There will be fireworks at 9.30 pm ,every night till the closing of the event! I just caught it along my corriodor :P It lasted appox 3mins. So what are u munching on right now? Pineapple tarts? chococlates? peanuts? or love letters? Which is your favorite new yr goodie?
