moon oh moon

What myths do u know with regards to the moon? It was full moon last nite. Must be either the first or 15th of the lunar month. Look, it's so round. It was said that one shouldn't point to the moon, coz after which one will get a cut on the ear? hahaha.. Nope, have checked, no cut on my ear :P

it's friday already? Time files. I have been home alone for the past week. Have been out almost every night. Really need to catch up on my beauty sleep. Finally the breakout on my face is clearing up...but my back is one horrendous sight. Had dinner and drinks with my pals last nite. Was down at Thumper (goodwood park) after dinner. Woohoo.it was ladies nite and weeee..free drinks. No photos this time round coz i was with a bunch of camera shy pals. Ciptoning (Arjuna's Deep Meditation)

A one-night wayang kulit performance that brings together the talents of master shadow puppeteer Purbo Asmoro, acclaimed gamelan musician and musical director Wakidi Dwidjomartono and the musicians of the NUS Singa Nglaras Gamelan Ensemble!

Purbo Asmoro, one of Java's most respected and popular wayang performers, will perform Ciptoning, an episode from the great Indian epic The Mahabharata, about an evil orge who plans to steal a goddess and make her his wife. Arjuna, a prince, is sent by the gods to defeat the ogre and a battle ensues.

With simultaneous English translation available in print as well as projected surtitles

26 Mar (Sun), 7.30pm, SAM Glass Hall. Reservation of limited front row seats with donations of S$10 and above. Free admission for all other seats on a first-come-first-served basis.

*warning* The following post is a ranting entry. Do not proceed, I repeat, DO NOT proceed if you have no wish to 'hear' me complain wahahhaha. Instead, you can click Here for some cool and fun games. I am tired of unsolicited calls..just this few days alone I have received calls from a survery company (wanting to know about my views on certain advertisment), two banks trying to push me their credit cards, and some guy wanting to discuss my finanical situation. The banks are easy to deal with, hahaha, I start my 'script' before the card pusher goes on with their scripts. I tell them in a cordial manner that no thanks, i am unemployed or jobless, or not earning enough. And ta da! i got rid of the call. As for the insurance companies, it's abit tricky, coz those guys are trained in the thick skin department. They never take no for an answer. They 'die die ' must meet me for a 'chat' . Oh pls lah! Chat my foot. I hate to sit thru insurance talk. It's the same old stuff. The time line chart, how much we must save for old age, how much we have to prepare if we are lay off.. argh. And when asked who gave them my number, they will laugh it off..yeah..don't let me find out that YOU have been giving my number to some agent . These people will try to act as if they are your best friend, always friendly , always trying to accomodate to your timing. Blah! Ahyah, of coz i know they are just doing their job-helping us choose the rite kind of investment/insurance. Sometimes i dread going into pharmacies. There are 'dangers' lurking around. I just wanna browse around or just get want i need to get and out i go. Somehow somehwere, there will be this one sales lady trying to promote her slimming cream, her skincare, her hairt reatment etc. And hhahaha, it always seems that the sales ladies are the one that are in need of their own productS!!!!! hahahhha. GIVE ME A BREAK~~~!!! Enough of this rant. lalalallalallalal ------00ooo00-------

bring out the the green in me

I like green..clothes that is.. Was doing my once a week wardrobe cleanup..tada! presenting my green tops. I realised there were a few other more greenies hidden in my wardrobe after taking this photo. Haha..i actually thought I like black! I am sure i will aquire more greenies in the near future. Yes yes...have to admit I have no muse to blog for this weekend..hence all these 'bo liao' (meaningless, useless, crappy) entries.

shorts with heels?? -_-""

I just don't get it... perhaps many of you reading this now share the same view as me. Shorts...regardless of brand..length.. color etc.. is not suppose to go with heels. It may look alright on celebrities like Fann wong or Britney Spears,but i still believe that shorts for normal people like you and me should be wore with slippers or sports shoes :P Some ladies may think that it's okay to team heels and shorts together. However, I really frown upon that. It's the same as teaming stripped shirt with checkered pants. Wouldn't that look totally horrible and clashing? I have seen countless of such oddly dressed females on the streets. I am no fashion police nor someone who knows how to dress really well...but i still have some common sense to know what to wear and what not to wear . I still stand by my view that shorts should not be worn with high heels :P ----------00OO00---------- ps: i ripped the above from my old blog. hehehe :P
